Iowa State Football Shakes Up Coaching Staff

AMES, Iowa -- Iowa State football coach Matt Campbell is shaking up his staff.

He says offensive coordinator Tom Manning and strength and conditioning coach Dave Andrews are no longer with the Cyclones program.

Manning had been on the staff for all but one of Campbell's seven years at ISU, and was under contract through 2024.

Andrews had been with the program the past three season was also under contract through 2024.

"Decisions such as these are never easy because of the impact they have on the lives of individuals and their families, however, in order for us to move the program forward, I felt it necessary to make these changes at this time," Campbell says.

The school says Campbell is doing a top-to-bottom review of the football program.

The Cyclones went four-and-eight in the football season just ended, and had the Big 12's worst performing offense out of the league's 10 teams.
