(Story County, IA) -- The Iowa State Patrol says 15-to-20 vehicles were involved in a pileup near Ames this (Thursday) afternoon. The ISP says there were no major injuries.
According to police dispatch, at least one semi tractor trailer jackknifed during snowy conditions, blocking the southbound lanes of the interstate between Ames and Gilbert. Southbound traffic was diverted of I-35 to 190th Street.
