Iowa Gas Prices Up to Start the Week

(Iowa) -- Gas prices in Iowa are up 13 cents from this time last week.

Triple A reports the current statewide average for a gallon of regular unleaded in Iowa is $3.29, up from $3.16 at this time last week. Prices vary by region, including:

  • Des Moines: $3.34
  • Ames: $3.37
  • Cedar Rapids: $3.29
  • Iowa City: $3.36
  • Council Bluffs: $3.15
  • Quad Cities (Iowa side): $3.27
  • Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.60
  • Dubuque: $3.37
  • Sioux City: $3.24
  • Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $3.32

The national average price for regular unleaded is $3.50 a gallon.
