Coralville: Storm Debris Clean Up Could Take Weeks

Photo: Iowa's News Now

(Coralville, IA) -- The City of Coralville says it may take a few weeks to pick up debris from recent storms. Homeowners are asked to separate debris into piles of yard waste, construction items, and appliances. Tree branches and limbs should be no greater than 6 inches in diameter and should be placed at the curb for pickup. Homeowners are asked to keep the roadway and storm water drains clear.

Stickers are not required for branches and limbs during this special pickup, and there is no charge for collection.

The City says collection may not be on your regular garbage day.

Place yard debris curbside in biodegradable Coralville yard waste bags. Regular yard waste collection may be delayed due to storm debris cleanup.
