(Omaha, NE) -- Two Omaha firefighters suffer minor injuries while battling a large fire at a vacant apartment complex in northwest Omaha.
The fire at Legacy Crossing near 105th and Fort broke out around 1:30 Monday afternoon. The complex has been vacant since December 2022, when residents were forced to move out do to unlivable conditions. Monday's blaze was a three-alarm fire and was mostly contained to one building. The Omaha Fire Department says about 70 firefighters were on scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
