Man arrested in connection to Kearney man's homicide

(Sarpy County, NE) -- An arrest is made in connection to the death of a Kearney man who went missing from Council Bluffs.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office says their deputies, along with the Bellevue Police Department, served a search warrant on a near 48th and Giles and arrested one person in connection to the disappearance and homicide of Patrick Weber. Weber was reported missing in late February after traveling to Council Bluffs, but never returning home to Kearney. Weber's body was found near 66th and Rainwood Road on March 20th. Weber's vehicle was also missing following the discovery of his body.

Investigators say 24 year old Camron Rogers has been charged with Tampering with Evidence in Weber's homicide. DCSO says additional charges may follow pending further investigation. Investigators say the missing Buick belonging to Weber has now been located.
