(Sarpy County, NE) -- The jury selection date has been set for a Bellevue man accused of murdering his two small children.
On Tuesday, it was announced that jury selection for Adam Price will begin on September 12th. Price is accused of killing his children, 3 year old Theodore and 5 year old Emily, in May 2021. Prosecutors say Price smothered the children, then fled to California before being arrested in the San Francisco area days later. Investigators say the children were found after their mother called to have a welfare check conducted at Price's home. The children's mother live in Illinois and had not heard from her children, prompting the welfare check.
Price and the children's mother were going through a divorce when Teddy and Emily were killed.
