(Davenport, IA) -- The city of Davenport says while flood waters have crested along the Mississippi River, traffic detours will remain in place for now.

The city says roadways will gradually re-open as flood waters recede but expects current detours to remain in place for another week. Detours will be gradually lifted as river levels fall. The city is reminding residents that businesses remain open despite the detours.
