(La Vista, NE) -- PayPal is looking to sell its two buildings in La Vista.
PayPal owns two buildings just off of Interstate 80 in the Southport Development. The buildings, which along with the land they sit on are valued at roughly $36 million, have reportedly been on the market for several weeks. During the COVID-19 pandemic, most PayPal employees in Omaha started working from home.
“PayPal is continuously evaluating our global office footprint and spaces to ensure that our company and our employees are best set up for success. As our ways of working have evolved, so too have our office needs. As part of this effort, we are in the process of finalizing the sale of our existing Omaha office location. PayPal remains fully committed to Omaha and the company continues to look for a new space in the area that better fits the needs of our employees.” - PayPal corporate statement
PayPal opened the first building in the Southport Development in 2003, with Building two opening a few years later in order to accommodate more employees.
