(Davenport, IA) -- The Salvation Army of the Quad Cities is giving out flood cleanup kits as the Mississippi River begins to lower.
The organization will be giving out the kits in Davenport and Moline starting today.
The kits include push brooms and mops, gloves, cleaning chemicals, and squeegees.
The National Weather Service says the Mississippi River at Rock Island is expected to be below major flood stage by Thursday.
