(Omaha, NE) -- A new study says Omaha has bounced back from the coronavirus pandemic better than most cities. University of Toronto recently ranked 63 U.S. and Canadian cities on their pandemic recovery and Omaha comes in at 11th. The school uses mobile device activity to track how busy the cities are. It says Omaha's mobile device activity is 83% of what it was before the pandemic. Omaha is also the 2nd-highest ranked city in the Midwest behind Columbus, Ohio at 4th. The study says the city that's recovered best from the pandemic is Salt Lake City, Utah. The full study is available here.
