(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- There's new information about a deadly car-vs-SUV crash in Cedar Rapids early Sunday morning. Police say 23-year-old Aja Dampier and 29-year-old John De Lapaz died after a crash in the 2100 block of Williams Boulevard SW. Police say three adults in SUV were hurt. Investigators say the Dodge Caliber driven by Dampier spun out of control and hit the Toyota Rav 4 shortly before 3 a.m. May 14th.
Dampier died on scene, De Lapaz died at the the hospital.
Investigators are asking for anyone with video footage or who witnessed the incident to please contact CRPD at 319-286-5491.
