(Des Moines, IA) -- The Des Moines Police Department will host a free community this weekend.
The Fun With the Police Event is scheduled for 9am-11am Saturday, located at 25 E. 1st Street in Des Moines, which is across the river from the downtown Farmer's Market. Community members will be able to interact with police officers and first responders, and the event will feature children's activities, face painting, inflatables, a best donut competition, and more.
This week is National Police Week.
