Police Department in Eastern Iowa gets Virtual Reality Training Program

(Mount Pleasent, IA) -- An eastern Iowa police department will be one of the first in the state to get a virtual reality training program.

Mount Pleasant City Council approved the program which is funded by American Rescue Act Funds.

The virtual reality program will help officers at the Mount Pleasant Police Department practice real-life situations.

The department expects to receive the program by June.
