Iowa Gas Prices Up 7 Cents to Start the Week

(Iowa) -- Gas prices in Iowa are up to start the week.

Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded in Iowa is $3.40 a gallon, up 7 cents from this time last week. Prices vary regionally across the state, including:

  • Des Moines: $3.46
  • Ames: $3.39
  • Cedar Rapids: $3.41
  • Iowa City: $3.43
  • Cedar Falls/Waterloo: $3.40
  • Dubuque: $3.51
  • Quad Cities (Iowa Side): $3.35
  • Quad Cities (Illinois Side): $3.76
  • Sioux City: $3.40
  • Council Bluffs: $3.25

The average price for regular unleaded nationally is $3.54 a gallon.
