Man Accused Of Trying To Attack People In His Underwear Arrested In Omaha

(Omaha, NE) -- A man's facing several charges after the Douglas County Sheriff's Office says he was trying to attack people with knives while in his underwear. The sheriff's office says deputies responded to an area near Ida Street and Irvington Road in Northwest Omaha around 12:15 p.m. Monday where Darnelle Policarpe was reportedly trying to attack people in their cars. Deputies were able to get Policarpe to drop the knives and arrest him. He's charged with terroristic threats, use of a weapon to commit a felony, and attempt of a class 2 felony.
