(Omaha, NE) -- Bond is set at $10 million for a man accused of leaving his wife to die following a crash near Carter Lake.

On Wednesday, a Douglas County judge set bond for 39 year old Pierre Brayman. After nearly a month of the run, Brayman was arrested by the Metro Fugitive Task Force on Monday. He's charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury accident that resulted in death.

The night of April 26th, Omaha Police say Brayman was speeding when his Ford F-150 left the road and crashed. Investigators say Brayman's wife, 37 year old Tiffany, was ejected from the truck and later died at a local hospital. Police say alcohol shooter bottles were found in the cab of the truck following the crash.

Brayman is slated to appear in court again in June.
