Iowa Gas Prices Hold Largely Steady to Start the Week

(Iowa) -- Iowa gas prices are holding steady to start the week.

Triple A reports the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded in Iowa is $3.37, up two cents from this time last week but holding steady over the past month. At this time last month, the average price for a gallon of regular was $3.36. Prices vary regionally across the state, including:

  • Des Moines: $3.36
  • Ames: $3.46
  • Cedar Rapids: $3.38
  • Iowa City: $3.39
  • Dubuque: $3.47
  • Quad Cities (Iowa side): $3.35
  • Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.71
  • Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $3.42
  • Sioux City: $3.41
  • Council Bluffs: $3.22

The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded nationally is $3.59.
