Long Missing Omaha Inmate Back In Custody

The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services says an inmate missing for four years from the Community Corrections Center – Lincoln has been arrested by the Roseville, Michigan Police Department.

They say Antonio Collier was booked into the Macomb County Jail in Mount Clemens, Michigan.

Corrections says Collier disappeared on May 19th, 2019, when he did not return to the facility after he was granted permission to attend a local church.

He started his sentence on April 3rd, 2018: four to five years for burglary out of Douglas County.

Corrections says the Community Corrections Center - Lincoln is one of two community custody facilities they operate.

Community custody is the lowest custody level and the least restrictive facility.

Inmates are allowed to take part in work opportunities, attend school and religious services with prior approval and without direct supervision.
