Mens' College World Series Field In Place

The eight team field is set for the Mens' College World Series in Omaha after two Super Regionals were decided last night.

Tennessee advances to Omaha with a 5-0 victory over Southern Mississippi in a weather-delayed game in the Hattiesburg Super Regional, and Stanford beat Texas 7-6 in walk-off fashion to win the Palo Alto Super Regional.

The Series begins Friday at Charles Schwab Field in north downtown Omaha.

On Friday, TCU plays Oral Roberts at one p.m. in a game on ESPN.

At six p.m., Florida takes on Virginia in a game also televised on ESPN.

On Saturday, Wake Forest plays Stanford at one p.m. on ESPN.

LSU AND Tennessee have a SEC showdown in Omaha at six p.m. also on ESPN.

The College World Series of NCAA Baseball deciding a National Championship has been played in Omaha every year since 1950.
