(Bettendorf, IA) -- A new outpatient mental health clinic is coming to the Quad Cities.
With the goal of increasing access to health care, Vera French is renovating a new office building in Bettendorf by converting the space into a clinic.
Vera French CEO Dr. Richard Whitaker Jr. says outpatient care has increased by 18% in the last year.
The location will serve patients by the end of the year.
Vera French is looking to hire 15 to 20 employees to work the clinic, including 12 to 15 licensed mental practitioners.
The company has served nearly 9,000 people in the Quad Cities in the last two years.
