One Man Killed, Another Injured After Northern Iowa Crash

(Franklin County, IA) -- One man is dead, a second injured after a northern Iowa crash. The Franklin County Sheriff's Office says a car driven by 34-year-old Adam Booker of Colorado ran a stop sign early this (Saturday) morning and collided with an S-U-V on Highway 65 north of Hampton. Booker's car went into a ditch and caught fire. The SUV also went into a ditch. That driver, 26-year-old Spencer Brinkman of Latimer was taken to Mercy One Hospital in Mason City.
