20-Year-Old Dies After Being Shot Outside Clinton Hospital

(Clinton, IA) -- A 20-year-old woman shot near a Clinton hospital is dead.

Emma Chadwick was shot multiple times outside the MercyOne Hospital early Monday.

She died at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Wednesday.

An adult male was shot outside MercyOne late Sunday.

The suspect in both shootings is 39-year-old Randy Allen Jackson.

Law enforcement had a standoff outside Jackson's house until an officer shot Jackson who was then pronounced dead at the local hospital.
