(Chicago, IL) -- Tourism in Illinois is making history.

It has been announced by Governor Pritzker that the state has achieved its highest-ever hotel revenue figures in fiscal year 2023, with a total of $308 million.

That's more than the pre-pandemic record in 2019.

In 2022, Illinois received a total of 111 million visitors who spent $44 billion.

That's 14 million additional travelers spending $12 billion more than in 2021.
