(Undated) -- It’s been a record-setting fiscal year for sports betting in Iowa.
According to the Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission, more than $2.2 billion was wagered in the state between July 2022 and June 2023.
Casinos brought in more than $182 million in revenue, and state taxes hit $13 million.
Since sports betting was legalized in Iowa in 2019, about $6.3 billion total has been wagered.
