Former History Nebraska Head Found, Has Court Date Set

(Lincoln, NE) -- The former head of History Nebraska that's facing felony charges has been found and has a court date. Trevor Jones is accused of taking $270,000 intended for History Nebraska and using the money on a new foundation he created. Jones resigned in May 2022 and said he was moving out of the country. He was charged last month with felony theft by deception. He now has an attorney, has bonded out of jail, and has an initial appearance in court set for August 24th.
