Henry Dinkins Has Final Court Hearing, Trial Set For August

(Linn Co., IA) -- The man accused of killing Davenport 10-year-old Breasia Terrell has his final court hearing before his trial. Henry Dinkins appeared virtually in Linn County court Tuesday where the judge went over how many witnesses would be called. The prosecution and defense decided to meet on July 31st to go over what motions have been filed. Jury selection starts August 2nd and the trial will start August 8th. It's expected to last about five weeks. Dinkins is accused of kidnapping and killing Terrell over three years ago. She was reported missing on July 10th, 2020 and her body wasn't found until March 2021.
