More Than 18K ESA's Approved

(Des Moines, IA) -- Nearly 700 Iowa families have been approved for the state's new Education Savings Account program in the last week.

More than $18,000 families have been approved by the state education department from more than 29,000 applicants.

The state has until the end of the month to review all applications.

Iowa has already approved more than the 14,000 accounts budgeted.
