Omaha Police say officers were called to the area of 20th and Lake Streets early Friday to look into a report of a shooting.
Officers located the victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
They say 28-year old Tylesha Tucker was taken to a hospital by Omaha Fire paraedics with non-life threatening injuries.
As the investigation continues, anyone with information is asked to call "Omaha Crime Stoppers" at 402-444-STOP.
Anonymous tips leading to the arrest of a shooting suspect are eligible for an enhanced reward of up to $10,000.
