Omaha Fire Ruled Accidental

Omaha Fire investigators say an unattended candle near combustibles is to blame for a accidental house fire in Omaha.

The fire was Monday night near 63rd and Spaulding Streets.

Firefighters brought the fire under control in about 10 minutes.

No injuries were reported.

The fire department says arriving firefighters found heavy smoke from the raised ranch style home, with an occupant outside pointing them to the fire that was in a main floor bedroom.
