Fog Brings Visibility To Less Than A Quarter-Mile In Central, Southern Iowa

(Undated) -- Along with very hot and muggy conditions this morning, forecasters are warning about the likelihood of patchy dense fog across central and southern Iowa.

This will be mainly south of Highway 30.

According to the National Weather Service, visibility could be reduced to less than a quarter-mile at times.

Drivers and RAGBRAI riders are told to be ready for rapid changes in visibility over short distances if traveling this morning.
