Two People From Omaha Killed In I-29 Crash In Harrison County, Iowa

(Harrison Co., IA) -- Two people from Omaha are killed in a car crash on Interstate-29 in Harrison County, Iowa. The Iowa State Patrol says 57-year-old Tony Flowers rear-ended a truck in a construction zone just north of Mondamin around 4:00 p.m. Wednesday. Flowers died in the crash along with his passenger, 45-year-old Takaimia Powell. The driver of the truck, 39-year-old Michael Harper Jr., was life flighted to the hospital. The Iowa State Patrol says his life was saved by his seatbelt.
