Iowa's Camp Dodge Hosts Korean War Veterans Ceremony

(CAMP DODGE, Iowa) -- The Iowa Gold Star Military Museum at Camp Dodge today (Friday) partnered with the Korean-American Society of Iowa to host a Korean War Veterans Ceremony. Thirteen Korean War Veterans attended. Junghan Kim, the Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Chicago spoke at the event.

Governor Kim Reynolds signed a proclamation declaring July 27 as Korean War Veterans Day,

More than 85,000 Iowans bore arms in the Korean War and 508 lost their lives.
