Rock Island Arsenal Leads Two-Week Army Mobilization Training

(Rock Island, IL) -- The Rock Island Arsenal in the Quad Cities is the lead site for nationwide mobilization training happening this week. Over 3,000 soldiers, civilians, and contractors are training at five different bases around the country. The goal of the exercise is to keep mobilization plans fresh in the minds of everyone. The mobilization exercise ends Friday. The Rock Island Arsenal has been the headquarters of the First Army since 2011.
