DMPD Says Tips From Public Lead to Arrest of Two Robbery Suspects

(Des Moines, IA) -- The Des Moines Police Department says tips from the public led to the arrests of two robbery suspects.

Police say the two individuals are suspected of robbing an auto parts store on July 21st in the 2500 block of Easton Boulevard. Investigators say a store employee started to take photos of the suspects as they fled from the scene when the suspects swerved and hit the employee with their car.

Police say public response to the photos of the two suspects led to their arrest in less than an hour. Both suspects are now facing charges.
