Cedar Rapids Children Learning The Importance Of Health At Fair

(Cedar Rapids, IA) -- Cedar Rapids kids are learning the importance of health at the second annual Children's Health Fair.

It was hosted on Tuesday by the Cedar Public Library and Reading Into Success at the Ladd Library.

The event partnered with multiple local health providers to teach kids how to live a healthy lifestyle.

There were also free screening tests on eyes and teeth for kids ages six month to 5 years old.

The partners include Family Learning Connection, Grant Wood Area Education Agency Early Access, HACAP/WIC, Iowa Kids Sight with Lions Club and Live.Eat.Buy Health.

The fair wants to connect families with community services to improve their wellbeing.
