(Waterloo, IA) -- Police in Waterloo say a woman is arrested after being accused of setting her Dubuque apartment on fire in 2021.
Investigators say 52 year-old Reva Lyons was taken into custody Monday and now faces multiple charges, including arson. She's accused of setting fire to her own apartment, located in the 2200 block of White Street in September of 2021. At the time, she was in the process of being evicted from the apartment.
Lyons says the fire was an accident, but investigators say evidence points to the fire having been intentionally set.
