Iowa Ranked 5th For Natural Disasters By WalletHub

(Undated) -- Iowa has some of the worst natural disasters in the country. WalletHub says Iowa is the state 5th-most impacted by natural disasters. WalletHub says Iowa has had the most damage per capita from natural disasters causing at least $1-billion in damage since 1980. However, Iowa has had just the 21st-most natural disasters causing $1-billion in damage since then. Neighborhing Illinois ranks 18th overall while Nebraska ranks 7th. WalletHub says the state most impacted by natural disasters is Mississippi and the least impacted state is Maine. A full list of states is available here.
