(Davenport, IA) -- Davenport Police believed Breasia Terrell was dead within a day of her disappearance. During day four of testimony in the Henry Dinkins murder trial, the owner of a cadaver dog company testified that he was called in by Police within a day of Breasia Terrell's disappearance to search for the 10 year-old girl. Prosecutors asked Jim Peters if he thought the search of a camper believed used by Dinkins on Credit Island meant police thought Breasia was dead. Peters agreed and said Dinkins was a person of interest that early in the investigation. Dinkins is charged with the kidnapping and murder of Breasia Terrell in 2020. The bench trial continues today.
