Man Accused Of Impersonating Lincoln High Schooler Pleads Not Guilty

(Lincoln, NE) -- A man accused of impersonating a high school student in Lincoln is pleading not guilty. Twenty-six-year-old Zachary Scheich is charged with one count of sex trafficking a minor and two counts of child enticement using an electronic device. Investigators say he pretended to be a 17-year-old student at Lincoln Northwest High School and Lincoln Southeast High School this year and sent inappropriate messages to underage girls. Investigators say some of the victims were as young as 13. Scheich is still in custody on $250,000 bond.
