Iowa Gas Prices Down to Start the Week

(Iowa) -- Gas prices in Iowa are down to start the week.

Triple A reports the average price for regular unleaded in Iowa is $3.66 a gallon, a drop of 11 cents from this time last week. Prices vary regionally across the state, including:

  • Des Moines: $3.62
  • Ames: $3.76
  • Cedar Rapids: $3.64
  • Iowa City: $3.80
  • Quad Cities (Iowa side): $3.60
  • Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.96
  • Dubuque: $3.80
  • Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $3.54
  • Sioux City: $3.74
  • Council Bluffs: $3.60

The average price for regular unleaded nationally is $3.86 a gallon, largely holding steady from this time last week.
