Construction On La Vista Concert Venue The Astro Delayed, Concerts Moved

(La Vista, NE) -- Construction on a new concert venue in La Vista is being delayed. Because of this, some concerts planned for The Astro are being moved to different venues. The Astro has moved the following concerts:

• I Want My 80’s Tour with Rick Springfield, The Hooters, Paul Young, and Tommy Tutone

on August 30th at Liberty First Credit Union Arena, 7300 Q Street, Ralston.

• Here Come the Mummies on September 7th at The Admiral, 2234 South 13th Street, Omaha.

• Beth Hart on September 16th at The Admiral, 2234 South 13th Street, Omaha.

• Ancient Aliens on September 20th at The Admiral, 2234 South 13th Street, Omaha.

• Casey Donahew on September 22nd at The Astro Amphitheater, 8302 City Center Drive, La

Vista.

• The Gaslight Anthem on September 30th at The Astro Amphitheater, 8302 City Center

Drive, La Vista.

The Astro is a new indoor-outdoor multipurpose venue located at 8302 City Centre Drive. Managers say the 2,400-person, 52,000-square foot indoor theater connects to an outdoor grass amphitheater, hosting 5,500 attendees and overlooking a 34-acre public park.
