Iowa Department of Transportation to Receive $2 Million in Federal Funds

(Iowa) -- The Iowa Department of Transportation will receive $2 million dollars in federal funds.

The U.S. Department of Transportation announced this week that the funds will be used to for repairs on gravel roads and to use digital technology to schedule infrastructure repairs throughout the state. The Iowa DOT is one of eight states and Washington, D.C. receiving the funding.

The funds are made possible under the bipartisan infrastructure law.
