(Davenport, IA) -- A series of bridge closures take place in the Quad Cities this weekend.
The Government Bridge will be closed all-day Saturday for washing.
The new I-74 bridge will have nightly Illinois-bound lane closures Friday and Saturday. It closes completely Sunday morning between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. while the towers and cables from the old bridge are demolished.
The I-80 bridge will have nightly lane closures Sunday through Thursday for bridge washing.
