Iowa Gas Prices Down to Start the Week

(Iowa) -- Gas prices in Iowa are down to start the week.

Triple A reports that the average prices for a gallon of regular unleaded is $3.57 a gallon, down 9 cents from this time last week. Prices vary regionally across the state, including:

  • Des Moines: $3.48
  • Ames: $3.75
  • Cedar Rapids: $3.55
  • Iowa City: $3.69
  • Quad Cities (Iowa side): $3.52
  • Quad Cities (Illinois side): $3.93
  • Dubuque: $3.74
  • Waterloo/Cedar Falls: $3.43
  • Sioux City: $3.68
  • Council Bluffs: $3.56

The average national price for regular unleaded is $3.82 a gallon.
