Lawsuit Says Davenport Staff Knew Apartment Building Was Unsafe

(Davenport, IA) -- A lawsuit says Davenport city staff knew about the unsafe conditions of a now collapsed apartment building. In a Quad City Times report, plaintiffs of a lawsuit against the city, and owner Andrew Wold say a warning was issued about the poor condition of The Davenport apartment building by city staff in February. According to the lawsuit, Mid-American also reported issues with the building last winter.
