In an extravaganza that will be remembered forever, a new world record is set during "Volleyball Day in Nebraska."
92-thousand-three people attended Wednesday's doubleheader at Nebraska Memorial Stadium in Lincoln between the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the Omaha Mavericks and, in the afternoon, Nebraska- Kearney and Wayne State.
That marks a new world record for the most people attending a women's sporting event as the "Sea of Red" pictures go viral.
The Huskers and Wayne St. came away with victories.
