(Rock Island, IL) -- The boy found dead in a garbage can in the Quad Cities in July died from a gunshot wound. At a preliminary hearing in Rock Island County court yesterday, a police detective testified that it was the two sisters of 10 year-old Zion Staples who admitted to him that the boy had died in December. Their mother, Sushi Staples had told police she had no son. Her trial on charges of concealing a death begins October 30th.
