(Center Point, IA) -- A family is displaced after a house fire in Cedar Point.
Investigators say first responders received a call about the fire around 6:30pm Monday in the 100 blcok of main street.
All of the family members were able to get out of the home safely, but one of their two dogs died in the fire. Investigators say the fire damage to the home was substantial. The cause of the fire remains under investigation
