Moline Church Hoping To Collect Nine Thousand Diapers

(Moline, IL) -- A Moline Church program is hoping to collect over 9,000 diapers in a donation drive.

In the past nine years, the First Baptist Church has donated diapers every month to parents in the community through its "Diaper Depot" program.

Saturday, September 9th, the church will be hosting a "Fill The Truck" donation drive through a partnership with the Moline Kiwanis Club for this month's donation event and to celebrate the program's ninth anniversary.

The donation drive will take place at the First Baptist Church in Moline located at 1901 29th Street.

The goal is to collect at least 9,000 diapers, which is approximately 50 boxes of diapers.

Monetary donations will also be accepted.

Donation hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the third Saturday of every month.

Over 1,000 mothers have already benefitted from these donations since the program began.
